Our client is looking to source an experienced steel estimator for their busy Essex office
About the Client:
Our client is a well established and respected Structural Steel contractor based in Essex. They have been established for over 15 years and have a multi- million turnover. Projects go up to the value of £4million and are for a broad range of sectors such as the education, health and commercial sectors. They are currently looking to source an experienced Estimator to join as an addition to their expansion plans.
About the Role:
Help to plan and program the Estimating Department resources and liaise with the departments staff
Monitor, maintain, update and develop the Company's standard estimating data in conjunction with the technical coordinator.
Arrange CPD talks by external Suppliers
Report to the Sales Director as required to ensure that work is prioritised correctly, including the attendance at bib/no bid and planning meetings.
About the Candidate:
Must have at least 5 years estimating experience within the Steel Industry
Must be able to collate information and report to the Managing Director
Must be confident of dealing with tenders up to the value of £5 Million
Must have a good working attitude and communication skills
