About the Client:
Our client is a specialist in high quality refurbishment, new build and fitting out. They thoroughly understand the needs of their clients and deliver value and excellence in every aspect of service. They are looking for an experienced Estimator who can deliver on the full build of a project including the fit out. The average tender is in the £5m - £10m range so experience to that level is desired.
About the Role:
Experience across the Fit Out, Refurbishment & New Build markets essential.
Review and report on the clients’ enquiries to enable a decision to be made on their bid
Prepare accurate cost estimates for the indirect resources required to carry out works in accordance with the agreed programme and engineering requirements
Present the prepared tender documents to the Estimating Manager
Ensure that the best possible and most market competitive prices are submitted in all instances
Attend meetings off-site with the Commercial team when required
About the Candidate:
Ability to read and understand tender documents, specifications, drawings etc
Experience in New Build, Fit Out & Refurbishment estimating
Lead by example, demonstrate trust in the team and portray expertise in the role
Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Must have experience of estimating £5m - £10m projects on a regular basis.
