Director of Business Development required for well known Security company.

 



About the Client:
Our client applies a highly integrated approach to security. Their combined services address all potential vulnerabilities, beginning with fundamentals like manned guarding and extending to advanced risk consultancy and management for special risk situations.  Our client seeks a Director of Business Development to oversee and manage all aspects of new business development for short term specialist consultancy, manned guarding, information products, communications, technical systems and equipment with the aim of developing long term relationships and acquiring new contacts.


About the Role:
  • To manage and develop & Implement the company business development & sales plan with the aim of achieving current financial targets and business goals. 
  • To perform senior level business development, key account management and contract management for specified areas of the business, both in the UK and overseas. 
  • To manage the Business Development and Information departments. 
  • To act as a Company Ambassador in all dealings, both internally and externally, and to contribute to the strategic planning of the business as part of the Senior Management Team/Board.
  • Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager and Information & Intelligence Manager
    Indirect reports to Iraq Country Manager, Saudi Country Manager and Nigerian Country Manager.


About the Candidate:
  • Manage, develop & implement Key Acc Management plan in order to ensure all key accounts are consolidated year on year
  • Account management of existing clients with the aim of developing long term relationships and maximising profit margins
  • Contract management of Information systems/services with the aim of providing day-to-day operational support to these areas; High level strategic contract management of operational Consultancy in overseas theatre, including personal visits and liaising with Director Operations
  • Source and set up insurances for new products and services, handing over to Director Operations once in place
  • Formulation of company marketing, PR and business development plans in liaison with MD
  • Develop all company promotional, sales and marketing material in close liaison with MD
  • Preparation of tenders, proposals and all company sales presentations both generic and specific
  • Direct & Run CSQs for clients of specialist and consultancy services and manage the Commercial department in running CSQs for manned guarding and technical services
  • Provide initial budget forecasts for new business across the Company
