Director with a leading international consultancy.
My client is an international consultancy practice with a rapidly growing facade division. They currently have a turnover in excess of £80M and employ over 700 employees.
They are currently looking to employ a Director.
Achieve financial and non-financial targets for a portfolio of jobs agreed with the chief executive.
Be able to motivate and lead large multidisciplinary professional teams to deliver client solutions.
Be ultimately responsible for a portfolio of projects as project director covering all aspects including project delivery, client satisfaction, job profiability, job cash flow, project quality.
Provide a support/monitoring role to associate directors when the associate director is the main client contact.
Provide a support/mentoring role to team leaders (associate/associate director) and regional directors on a number of teams.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the business.
Drive company wide initiatives.
Be proficient in communicating our business plan, mission statement and key challenges to staff, business partners and client.
Show an active contribution to training and developing staff.
Inspire creative and controlled passion for engineering.
Take responsibility for key development areas of the business, HR, Marketing, Quality, Training, I.T etc.
Understand company/regional financial indicators, principles of the share and option schemes in operation.
Normally a minimum of 15 years experience chartered engineer or fellow. Have a proven track record as an associate director.
Have a proven ability in design, project management, team management and client liaison.
Be champions in their specialist field.
Be able to present to and advise clients on all engineering issues including concept design, buildability, construction techniques, detailed design, procurement routes, risk assessment and claim assessment.
Have a detailed knowledge of analytical concepts.
Have a detailed knowledge of our delivery in CAD standards, 3D working.
Be skilled at influencing and motivating people (staff, clients and other directors).
