About the Client:
Our client currently has fantastic growth within Facilities Management, Maintenance, Commissioning and hard services sectors with a £22M turnover. They are now looking to acquire an M&E Commissioning Manager to run various contracts in Abu Dhabi. The company are looking for a building services Commissioning Manager to help drive their thriving business to new heights and help the organisation achieve their growth targets for 2009 and in to the future.
About the Role:
Define the Commissioning Strategy
Carry out a Commissioning Assessment
Set up commissioning teams and documentation schemes from scratch
Write or manage the content, production and approval of the commissioning documentation to describe the commissioning organisation and testing, including commissioning management and team organisation, commissioning testing, operator and maintainer staff training, and documentation requirements and all related testing, verification, acceptance and quality control procedures
Carry out the commissioning through organisation of all meetings, tests, demonstrations, training events, and performance verifications described in the contract documents and approved commissioning procedures
Manage contractors or manpower resource to produce and approve the above documents and to carry out the commissioning
Maintain the commissioning records and collate into a commissioning handover package
Feedback any lessons learnt into the site commissioning, design and project organisations
About the Candidate:
Extensive knowledge and experience of the commissioning building service equipment
Experience of retail and office block commissioning roles
Extensive commissioning and commissioning management experience to cover process, mechanical, electrical and C&I systems. The candidate would not be expected to be an expert in all fields
Must have worked in the Middle East previously
Able to assess the correct balance between timescale, quality and cost
Able to work under pressure
