My client is a leading multi-national curtain walling and glazing contractor that operates throughout the UK from regional offices. They have a multi-million pound turnover and work on prestigious projects throughout the UK.
My client is a leading multi-national curtain walling and glazing contractor that operates throughout the UK from regional offices. They have a multi-million pound turnover and work on prestigious projects throughout the UK. They are currently looking to recruit a Commercial Manager to oversee all commercial issues and the other surveyors from the office.
Ensuring commercial and contractual matters are controlled on site
Contributing to risk identification and management
Negotiating projects and accounts
Recruitment and training of commercial staff
Vetting enquiry terms and conditions
Proven experience as a commercial manager or managing quantity surveyor, ideally from a specialist sub-contractor background
Detailed knowledge and experience of a wide range of contracts and sub contracts
Knowledge of contract law and ability to identify contractual risks
Excellent negotiating skills and capable of handling final account negotiations
Client focused approach to business
