My client is known throughout the UK as a bespoke products company, and within the construction industry is recognized for their Gutters, Range Screen Systems, Profile Cladding Sheets, Diffusers and Louvres. The company already employ over 100 people and are growing at an extensive rate. The company have set up a subsidiary Louvre company as they have enjoyed a high level of success within this side of the business, and are looking to bring in a Sales Manager to spearhead their Louvre operation. The Louvre side of the business last year brought in over £1 million alone (total company turnover last year was £12 million) and what makes them unique is the fact that they manufacture a bespoke solution specific for the project in mind. They deal with a high end product here, recent projects including the likes of Wembley stadium, and this year are scheduled to smash last year's turnover as they have recently tied up a job worth £400k, and are working on another involving an Acoustic Louvre worth circa £2 million. This Sales Manager will be representing the Louvre part of the business dealing with Architects, Consultants and Main Contractors. However this is not just a sales role, and my client needs somebody who has the business nouse, and maturity to really get involved in the sales and marketing of the company, the growth of the team, and somebody who is going to bring fresh ideas to the table and relish the opportunity to influence business direction. After all, with their plans, this role will incorporate growing a sales team in the near future, with the idea of growing this into a Directorship in the next 2 - 5 years.
