About the Client:
My client is a medium sized structural steel contractor that was established in 1974 and currently has a turnover in the region of £4M They are currently looking to employ a CHIEF ENGINEER for their Leicestershire location
About the Role:
Chief Engineer overseeing a medium sized design office
Ability to design and oversee design of single and multi-span portal frames, up to 50m span per frame
Oversee design of low rise, up to 5 storeys, post and beam, braced and/or rigid jointed structures
Be an active member of senior management and advise on all engineering issues
About the Candidate:
An experienced hands on steel engineer with experience of structural steel fabrications
Experience of overseeing and managing both in house and sub-contract engineers Good management skills and application of technical issues
Ideally a member of IStructE
