A forward thinking UK logistics company is looking to open a new office in London and require an experienced Business Development Manager to be based there. Selling air and sea freight services into commodities, retail and building sectors, the ideal candidate will be looking to progress their career in this growing market.


About the Client:
The client is a worldwide logistics company offering bespoke services, looking to expand their market share. They currently have offices in the North of England with a small but strong workforce. They provide logistics solutions for small to medium sized businesses as well as some larger contracts, and have experienced consistent year on year growth of 15%+ .


About the Role:
  • Generating new business in international air and sea freight  
  • Establishing and strengthening relationships with SME’s encouraging repeat business
  • A strong focus on increasing their market share in air freight
  • Selling in a business to business environment
  • Account managing responsibilities 
  • USA, Far East, Australasia, South America  


About the Candidate:
  • A target driven individual with an excellent sales track record
  • Will be dedicated to rapidly progress their career
  • Has experience in a business to business sales
  • Takes responsibility in a strong team environment
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and portray the company positively
