About the Client:
My client is one of today’s leading facility services companies in the UK. The focus is on growing business with major blue chip clients in both the Public & Private sector, whose needs require a strategic level of engagement and a life cycle approach to integrated solutions involving Hard FM technical solutions. They currently operate in the Defence, Central Government, Local Authority/Social & Domestic, Financial & Commercial Sectors.
About the Role:
Delivers activities to support operational objectives for their specific contract, project or specialism
Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards
Development of bid programme and responsibilities
Pricing of M & E and Fabric activities
Acting as lead for bids, including bundled service
Creating of the final document in response to the Client requirements
Writing of text and method statements for the final document
Identifies ways to reduce cost and improve service
Manages variable costs
About the Candidate:
Experience in a Facilities Management discipline
A natural ability to focus on customer service and customer requirements
Good organisational skills, and able to manage and prioritise resources under control
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong commercial awareness
The ability to set out a bid strategy
Proven negotiation skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in bidding
Full understanding of bid build ups in the Hard Maintenance environment
