Excellent opportunity to take on a BMS Engineering role with a stable major M&E Contractor.
About the Client:
Our client is one of the leading M&E contractors in the UK, and they have a substantial BMS Engineering division to give clients a full range of M&E and BMS services for the major projects that are awarded to them. They often take the principle contracting role on projects. The range of projects includes many education projects, health and commercial developments.
About the Role:
To assist in the management of BMS and Controls projects from tender stage through to design and handover.
To manage the engineering processes of projects up to 1 million pounds.
To assist in the commercial aspects of project and report calculations of all variations to contracts manager.
To assist in the commissioning of BMS and Controls on all projects.
To work in a variety of project environments and to deal with a variety of HVAC/Electrical and Controls Systems
About the Candidate:
At least 5 years experience in BMS and controls engineering at the level of Engineer.
To have an excellent understanding of the Electrical and HVAC trades at an engineering level.
Excellent up-to-date knowledge of BMS and Controls systems currently being installed in projects: a good knowledge of Trend would be advantageous.
Excellent understanding of all aspects of BMS Engineering: tendering, dealing with variations, procurement, basic design, and commissioning
