Applications Engineer required for company with over 80 years of manufacturing experience and a range of more than 500 products and control systems.

As one of Europe´s largest suppliers in both the commercial and public amenity fields our capabilities include roads, tunnels, infrastructure, land and cityscape, retail and leisure developments.
This means there’s now an even wider range of specialist lighting to choose from:
Street lighting, Main road lighting, Side road lighting, Area Lighting,
Floodlighting, Hi-mast lighting, Floodlighting, Tunnel lighting, Energy efficient lighting,
Sustainable lighting, Decorative street lighting, Contemporary street lighting and Urban lighting.
The position calls for the production of practical and innovative lighting design schemes for road tunnels using in-house products and software conforming to appropriate national and international standards as projects demand.
From the theoretical design scheme produced, appropriate CAD drawings will be created incorporating our control and monitoring system elements and all other site-specific information.
To perform these functions appropriate full training will be given both inhouse and externally on the fundamentals of light and lighting as well as all aspects of exterior lighting design applications and associated incorporation of intelligent control systems.c
The successful applicant will be based at our site and will also be required to participate in site commissioning and measurements, presently throughout the UK.
Knowledge of AutoCAD linked to an engineering background is a must.
Applicants with suitable engineering qualifications to HNC/HND or above would be preferred.
