•             My client is an award-winning structural steel contractor and fabricator with a history in delivering innovative construction projects. They are now looking to add a Commercial Manager to their team. 

About the Role

•             The position is mainly remote; however, occasional travel to Dorset area will be required.

•             Management of the commercial performance of construction projects.

•             Securing valuation and payment entitlements from the client.

•             Handling all commercial and contractual dealings with the downstream supply chain.

•             Management of cost/value performance of projects.

•             Internal reporting.

•             Working in close collaboration with others in the project delivery team.

About the Candidate

•             Proven ability in all aspects of the commercial process.

•             A good understanding of JCT and NEC contracts is essential.

•             Background in dealing with a main contractor or large sub-contractor.

•             Teamwork, self-motivation, and initiative are important attributes.
